Why can't I use Vacancy Alert or Child Care Connect any longer?

An explanation of what has happened to the Vacancy Alert and Child Care Connect services

We have paused the Vacancy Alert and Child Care Connect products and will now take the time to evaluate these services, make improvements and ensure we’re offering the best tools to support the ECEC sector and Australian families.

What does this mean for you?

  1. From August 14th, 2022, both the Vacancy Alert (for parents) and Child Care Connect (for ECEC services) will be unavailable.
  2. This will not impact parents who are still enquiring with ECEC services directly. Families can continue to search, compare and connect with services that suit their needs, via a direct phone call or email to book a tour and finalise their enrolment.
  3. If you have been using Child Care Connect as a marketing tool and would like to continue to generate connections between parents whose care requirements match your service’s current vacancies, please get in touch with James to discuss the variety of packages we have to suit all budgets.
With the large majority of leads still being generated through direct enquiry, we feel confident that the impact of pausing these features will be minimal. If you would like any additional information on how the Vacancy Alert/Child Care Connect changes impact your current subscription, please contact James our Chief Customer Officer.
